Terms of service

AOD is a marketplace. We vet artists, match them to your request, send you a quote, collect payment and stay your point of contact until delivery. Artists are independent professionals, not AOD employees; they decide how to do their creative work within the brief you agree.

• You must be 18 or over to book.
• Give accurate details (event date, venue, contact) so we can match and plan correctly.
• Don't misuse the site: no false bookings, scraping, attempts to break in, or harassment of artists or staff.

• A booking request is not a booking. We reply with matched artists and a quote.
• A quote is valid for the time shown on it (usually 48 hours), because artists' dates fill up.
• A booking is confirmed only when we have verified your payment (usually an advance) and confirmed it to you on WhatsApp or email. Opening a chat or sharing a transaction ID is not a confirmation.
• The quote lists what's included: hours, deliverables, travel, and anything you must provide (for example power, access or meals for long events).

• Prices are in Indian rupees. Each quote states whether GST is included. AOD's GSTIN: [to add].
• Pay only to AOD's official UPI ID or bank account shown on our payment page or in our messages. Don't pay artists directly for a booking made through AOD; we can't protect payments made outside AOD.
• The balance (if any) is due by the date shown on your quote, before the event unless agreed otherwise.
• Card, netbanking and wallet payments will be added through a payment gateway; until then we accept UPI and bank transfer.

These are covered by our Cancellation & refund policy. If an artist can't attend, we'll offer a suitable replacement or a refund, as that policy explains.

• You're responsible for the venue's permission for photography, filming, music or drones, and for a safe working environment.
• Artists may stop work if they are harassed or unsafe; such a stoppage isn't a breach by the artist.
• Overtime beyond the booked hours is charged at the rate in the quote, only if you agree to it.

• Photos, videos and edits are delivered through a link we manage, within the time stated in the quote. Download them before the link expires.
• The artist keeps the copyright in their work. You get the right to use the deliverables for your personal, non-commercial purposes; business bookings get the usage rights stated in the quote or contract.
• AOD and the artist may show the work in portfolios or marketing only with your permission.

Artists also sign AOD's artist agreement after approval, which covers rates, payouts, conduct and cancellations. Customers introduced through AOD should be booked through AOD for 12 months after the introduction.

Reviews must be honest and about your own booking. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake or unrelated, but not because they're negative.

• We take care in vetting and matching artists and in handling your booking, and we'll help put things right if something goes wrong.
• To the extent the law allows, AOD's total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
• We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government orders or widespread outages; the refund policy explains what happens then.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when the booking was confirmed.
